Through its collaboration with NIIT Foundation, Coforge has launched a CSR initiative, Shiksha. Coforge has four operational centers that provide various IT Skills and Employability Training to over 5000 underprivileged youth every year, astonishing right!

In 2020, NIIT Technologies was re-branded as Coforge.In April 2021, Coforge acquired a 60% stake in SLK Global Solutions for ₹918 crores. After this acquisition, the company’s employee count rose to 21,000 having inherited SLK’s employee strength of 10,000 which is not a less number. The Company successfully launched the Airports Operations Control Centre for the Airports Authority of India (AAI) across multiple airports in 2015 with impressive progress. It is the first multi-airport system in Asia that enables instantaneous sharing of information across airports and, therefore, benefits AAI airlines and stakeholders at these airports.

The company was presented the prestigious Banking & Finance ICT Innovation Award for Belgium/Luxembourg along with the KBC bank. Likewise, the company obtained the project completion signoff for the prestigious and operationally critical Comprehensive Maintenance Management System (CMMS) of the Indian Navy, completed at the Western Navy Headquarters of the Indian Navy during 2007–08, which itself is a matter of proud.

It definitely doesn’t stop here, the Company has partnered with UiPath; a company that specializes in robotic process automation (RPA). During FY 2018, the Company acquired RuleTek (a BPM architecture services company with a track record of successful implementations for Fortune 500 companies). Industry 4.0 and Automation:

With advancements in technologies like AI and Machine Learning the next phase will be entirely autonomous with minimal involvement of humans in the loop. The natural consequences of it will be enhanced productivity, negligible errors, shifting the dangerous jobs to robots, etc. For all of this to work, the machines are needed to work in harmony which could only be achieved through synchronization among the machines using APIs to modernize their legacy systems.
